Biaobin Jiang

Postdoc Fellow

Biaobin Jiang is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Wang Lab. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology in 2009. After one-year research intern at Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, he attended graduate school at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, the United States, where he earned his Ph.D. in Computational Biology in 2016. He then moved to Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, for postdoc training. He joined in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, HKUST, as a Postdoc Fellow in March 2017, and he was named as an IAS Postdoctoral Fellow in May 2017. Now he focuses on precision oncology driven by Next-Generation Sequencing data, including inference of tumor evolution, development of combination therapy, and post-treatment surveillance.
